Cloud roof?

This is the best time of year to watch the sky in Arizona!
There was a tree in the way, in the lower, right side of the image. I just knew that if I took the time to walk further down the street for a clear shot, the sun would disappear behind another cloud and I'd miss the shot altogether. I was right!

..but it's purdy in Arizona!

I stayed in Long Beach, CA for three months during the summer of 2002. I was on my way from Manitou Springs, CO to Phoenix, AZ and took a "little detour".

We were supposed to get a lot of rain today, but it didn't come.
