I've been making fudge every day this week too - not at 3 am though!

LOL Shirl, can't get anything past you! I had the butter and vanilla ready to go in when it was time to add them. Well, only half of the butter but you get the point. LOL

Do you use cream also....I never made fudge before. And I tought I was the only one up at 3am : D

I have tried to make that kind of fudge so many times and wasted so many pounds of sugar and it turns out to be so hard we can't even cut it! I adjust my temperature and my cooking time. Nothing works! So more power to you! I wish I was there to eat some of it! (((:
