Cueball and I have been given official Volunteer status for Arizona State Parks because we donate photos for their use and local newspapers and magazines' use.

I would love to go "home" for my favorite annual event, I've missed it the past 5 years. Gas prices have made it too expensive to drive...but I may go anyway.
Today is their annual Christmas parade with horse-drawn carts and antique cars. Manitou Springs is small enough that you can go and enjoy events like these without too large of a crowd, and having to fight traffic. I used to live within walking distance to these events.
